| Playa Quepos
is at the waterfront of the town of Quepos, and fronting on the harbor.
This is a great spot from which to watch the sunset
over the Pacific, or to observe boating activity or pelicans and other
seabirds as they hunt for fish. To the left is the wharf (muelle)
where banana boats used to dock and where sportfishing and dolphin-watching
boats are boarded. Damas Island and the marina are seen across the
estuary.
